GeneSys Educational (GenEd) has been designed using Psytech International’s widely used GeneSys system, as endorsed by Sue Littlefair, Development Manager - Workforce Services at Learning+Skills Council, Lancashire which currently holds a database of some 25,000 assessment results. The latest development of GenEd has been the introduction of West Nottinghamshire College’s basic & keySKILLBUILDER (bksb), the preferred initial assessment tool, used in over 50% of colleges and in more than 700 organisations nationally. It offers a coherent and quality approach to assessment, learning plans and development, for both basic and key skills, which can be used by everyone, whatever their current level of literacy or numeracy.
